Program description

The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Operations program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex operations and management aspects of the aviation industry. Throughout the program, students will learn about the technical, operational, and financial aspects of aviation. The curriculum includes courses in airport management, air traffic control, aviation law, aviation technology, and airline operations. As a college requirement, students will have the opportunity to study theoretical courses on flying fundamentals and aerodynamics. Additionally, students will learn about aviation safety and security, including emergency response procedures, risk management, and crisis management.

Graduates of the program will be well-equipped to pursue a career in various aspects of aviation operations, including airport management, airline operations, and aviation safety and security. They will have a thorough understanding of the aviation industry and its challenges and be prepared to tackle the complexities of aviation operations in a professional and efficient manner.

Disclaimer: Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Operations program will not take any flight courses as part of their curriculum. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in flying are recommended to consider the Professional Pilot program instead.
