This major is ideal for early stage social entrepreneurs who are building ventures aimed at solving social, environmental, or economic challenges. Whether you plan on creating a for-profit company, a non-profit organization, or a hybrid of the two, this is built to support these builders and creators along their entrepreneurial journey. * Students who chose to take a minor will register for classes under the elective credits (15 credits). Students taking (and completing) a minor do not need an internship. Still, if a student chooses to complete an internship, the student will be enrolled in WSE 497 and responsible for the internship credits payment. Students not enrolled in the minor must complete an internship to graduate. The student will complete the electives (12 credits) through the course offerings in the program/university and one internship of 3 credits (WSE 497).
