Housing and residence life

Lynn University’s six residence halls (Lynn, Trinity, de Hoernle, Freiburger and E. M. Lynn and Perper) and Capstone Apartments provide living accommodations for more than half of the university’s students. All room accessories (bedspreads, lamps, etc.) are provided by the student. Computer Internet access and cable television connections are provided. The Office of Housing and Residence Life assigns new students rooms and roommates. Returning students must choose their rooms and roommates during select dates during the spring term.

A resident assistant is a para-professional staff member and student whose primary responsibility is to build a community atmosphere among students in each hall. They also have the authority to refer to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards any student who is suspected of violating campus policies.

Housing and food schedules

Day Division full-time undergraduate resident students are required to be on a meal plan. The Bobby Campbell Dining Commons is open on a revised schedule, and all residential students have unlimited meals as part of their assigned meal plan.

Students with less than 60 academic credits who also are under 21 years of age are required to reside on campus. Exceptions include students who live with their parents within commuting distance and those who are married or have children.
