The objective of the Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot program is to equip students with the necessary skills to pursue a career as a professional pilot or flight instructor in the aviation industry. The curriculum encompasses aviation management, aviation safety and regulation, regulations and laws, and operations management.

This online program is intended for individuals who have prior flying experience. Prospective students applying to the Professional Pilot online program must have completed or be planning to fulfill the following requirements:

- Earn the FAA Private Pilot Certificate

- Earn the FAA Instrument Rating

- Earn the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate

- Earn the FAA Multi-Engine Commercial Rating

- Earn the CFI Rating

- Earn the CFI-I Rating

Students who don’t have any prior flight experience can pursue their flight training at a local flight school; please contact the Burton D. Morgan College of Aeronautics for guidance on how to complete the flight requirement.
