WSE 250Data Science & Impact Measurement

The data science curriculum is meant to provide students with a fluency in several areas of data science that are foundational to leading impactful, successful careers and becoming increasingly relevant as the future of work changes. Each sub topic within WSE 250, Impact Measurement, is broken down into skills and theory. The class is intended for all students to conduct a mini-practicum in which students apply the learning to a real-life, impact focused situation. This could be with a company or organization, their own venture, or a fellow student's venture. This class will go over critical topics such as impact measurement, data visualization, social return on investment, theory of change, qualitative data, data visualization and more.
