AVF 120Primary Flight Theory - Basic Ground School

Provides the student with the theoretical knowledge as part of the FAA requirements for the Private Pilot written exam under FAR Part 141 for a single-engine, land class airplane. Topics include aerodynamics, airspace, chart use, regulations, safety, weather and aircraft systems. Note: this course meets the partial FAA requirements for Private Pilot ground school but does not include any hands-on training in controlling a physical aircraft. In addition, this course provides fundamental theoretical knowledge that is useful for students pursuing non-flight aviation programs.
