Link and student staff members present at resident assistant seminar

Hannah Link, assistant director of housing and residence life facilitated a presentation, “Strengths-based supervision: How to utilize positive psychology and strengths development to build a stronger staff,” at the Florida Resident Assistant Seminar (FRAS), hosted by Ringling College of Art and Design and New College in Sarasota, Florida. More than 250 resident assistants and housing staff from 23 schools in the state attended. She was awarded first place presentation in the adviser track.

Seven student staff members attended with Link (three community advisers and four resident assistants) and three presented: Diego Ruiz (CA) and Sydney Parks (RA), “Colors of the Sea” addressing embracing diversity and promoting differences; and Baylee Howe (CA), “Don’t Make Pour Decisions” to make alcohol education interactive and fun.
