Joe Melita, assistant professor in the Donald E. and Helen L. Ross College of Education, and his Lynn 101 students created sensory walls for several local elementary schools. For their efforts, they won the "Best Overall" at the Citizenship Project Celebration.

Allie Moss '23, current ESE (exceptional student education) master's student at Lynn and autism teacher at Whispering Pines Elementary School (WPES), shared photos of her students enjoying the sensory walls. "The students love these walls!" said Moss. "They were jumping up and down with joy and excitement when they saw them."
