Lynn’s social media continues to rank among top 50 in the nation and number 4 in Florida
Published Nov. 21, 2013
The 2013 ranking positions Lynn as the 4th leading social media college in the state behind Full Sail University (#7), University of Florida (#14) and the University of Miami (#28). Other Florida colleges on the list include University of South Florida (#45) and Florida State University (#49).
“These innovative schools use social media to give students insight into their culture, personality, and DNA,” says Dean Tsouvalas, editor-in-chief, StudentAdvisor.com. “This is beneficial for students to determine the right fit beyond college rankings and marketing speak.”
To determine who makes the list, StudentAdvisor.com tracks thousands of colleges and universities on more than 100,000 data points in a statistically significant study to determine their respective social media uses. Data tracked focuses on social media engagement across platforms and innovative applications.
Lynn’s innovative Student Storytellers who share their personal student experiences via a variety of social media platforms was cited by StudentAdvisor as an aspect of the university’s social program they liked. People can see all their posts by clicking on Social at Lynn link right on Lynn.edu’s homepage. The storytellers replaced Lynn’s blogs, reflecting the fading interest in blogs among prospective and current college students.
