An undergraduate degree that's fast, flexible and financially friendly

Complete your four-year degree in just three years when you’re accepted into the Accelerated Degree Scholars Program. You’ll save $50,000 over the cost of a four-year degree and will be ready for the job market or graduate school one year sooner.

Here's how it works

You earn an accelerated degree by taking six to seven classes—at no extra cost—during fall, spring and summer terms.

If you take a gap year after high school, you’ll complete your degree in the same year as if you hadn’t. The accelerated degree program allows you to go on to complete your master's degree in just one year.

Invitation

Students are invited into the program. Students who meet the qualifying criteria are invited to consider the accelerated program after completing their first full-time semester at Lynn.

Eligible students must meet the following criteria:

  • Earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 while completing at least 16 credits in the first semester
  • Earn no grades of D+, D, F or NP in the first semester
  • Transfer into Lynn with fewer than 15 academic credits

Program requirements

  • Based on your first-semester GPA, you'll receive an invitation to a mandatory orientation session to get acclimated to the program. You can accept or decline the invitation.
  • If it's right for you, you'll opt-in to join the accelerated bachelor's program.
  • You can design your accelerated schedule with your adviser and get priority registrations for required courses.
  • Students in the Accelerated Degree Scholars Program complete the university's co-curricular requirements in Resilience & Coping and Academic Enhancements & Scholarship. The curated tasks and topics are completed, earning students in the Scholars Program digital badges in each focus area.
  • To remain in the program, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA while completing six courses per semester, summer classes, and no grades for D+, D, F, NP or W.
  • Once a student is in the program, should the minimum requirements not be maintained, one semester of academic remediation is offered for the student to get back in good standing.
