The Donald E. and Helen L. Ross College of Education's programs are delivered via experiential learning that brings research to practice. These programs challenge you to develop intellectually and personally to your fullest potential, ensuring you are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies required of successful educators.
The college offers bachelor's, master's and an educational doctorate for practitioners. The doctoral program will focus on research and partnerships with the Carnegie Foundation Project on the Educational Doctorate and local and regional school districts.
The B.S. in Elementary Education has 3 specializations:
- Grades K-6
- Grades K-6 Plus pre-K/Primary (Age 3 - Grade 3)
- Exceptional Student Education
Master of Elementary Education degrees are:
- M.Ed. in Exceptional Student Education with ESOL Endorsement (3 specializations):
- M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (3 specializations)
- Educational Doctorate for Practitioners Ed.D. (2 specializations)
- K-12 Educational Leadership
- Teacher Education.
