Anna Krift, professor and director of the Citizenship Project, gave a talk on women, politics and active citizenship for the Speaker Series at the Boca Raton Public Library.
In addition, a group of dedicated students, representing several majors and the group TURTL Project, joined Krift on behalf of Lynn's Social Impact Lab for a mangrove clean-up along the Intracoastal at Spanish River Park. Together, they collected over 300 pounds of trash consisting primarily of small pieces of plastic.
