Lynn University named Debra Rodrigues as February's Employee of the Month for her agile, dedicated, inclusive and student-centric attitude as associate director of graduate and online admission.
Rodrigues has been at Lynn for seven years. Her main responsibility is to recruit for Lynn's graduate and online bachelor's degree programs. She meets with prospective students, guides them through the admission process, reviews applications and ensures that all is well before classes begin.
When asked what winning Employee of the Month means to her, she noted, "It is very special. I sometimes question my leadership style, so winning the award validates that being my enthusiastic self is enough to make a difference."
Roridgues' favorite part about working at Lynn is the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
Fun fact: Roridgues has a twin sister. "I think people just can't imagine that there is another me out there," she said. "But she isn't, because we are so different!"
