Lynn University named Samantha Gallo as October's Employee of the Month for her agile, dedicated, inclusive and student-centric approach as internship and employment coordinator in Career and Alumni Connections.
Gallo has worked at Lynn for nine months, assisting students with the job and internship search process. Gallo also plans all career events (recruiting sessions, resume workshops, career fairs) and manages social media platforms for the department.
When asked what winning Employee of the Month means to her, she said, "I am so grateful to be recognized by my colleagues. I am motivated to continue working hard and strive to make a difference."
Gallo's favorite part about working at Lynn is being able to give back to the Lynn community, her alma mater.
Fun fact: Gallo considers herself a "sneakerhead."
