May 2023 Employee of the Month: Anna Krift

May 2023 Employee of the Month, Anna Krift, smiles next to President Kevin M. Ross.

Lynn University named Anna Krift as May's Employee of the Month for her dedication and student-centric attitude as a professor and director of The Citizenship Project.

Krift has worked at Lynn for almost 20 years as a professor of international relations and political science in the College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, Krift organizes The Citizenship Project, a first-year program that helps students engage and give back to the community.

When asked what winning Employee of the Month means, she said, "Winning Employee of the Month is an incredible honor. I am so appreciative!"

Krift's favorite part about working at Lynn is the people, "It is such a reward to come to Lynn each day—everyone is so kind and supportive."

Fun fact: During graduate school, Krift's brother dared her to apply for a summer internship program at Honda. She spent the summer assembling car doors and installing glass into Accords and Acuras. At the end of the program, her coworkers handed over a stack of cash and said, "Congratulations! You won!"

Little did she know, they had all taken bets on how long she would last on the line that summer.
