Alanna Lecher, associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, received an "Exemplary" designation for her peer-reviewed and published teaching module, Environmental Pollution & Public Health, in the Teach the Earth Teaching Activity Collection organized by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.
Fewer than 20% of the activities submitted to the collection receive this status. This is the second time a teaching module by Lecher has received this honor, the first module being Wind and Ocean Ecosystems two years ago.
