Sophia Stone

Sophia Stone, associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, presented two papers at the Lighthearted Philosophers' Society (LPS) in Whitefish, Montana.

The first paper was titled Children's Humor, Comedy and the Phenomenology of del Relajo in the Phenomenology of Jorge Portilla.

The second was a response paper to Michael Cundall's essay Humor, Laughter and Mirth as Common Goods. Stone's argument that humor was an uncommon good won her the Best Heckle award.
