Lynn University named Benjamin Jackson as September's Employee of the Month for his dedicated, inclusive and student-centric approach as a financial aid counselor in the Financial Aid office.
Jackson has worked at Lynn for over two years, helping students complete financial aid packaging. Jackson meets with students and families to discuss any financial-related issues, he also keeps students updated on any financial account changes and assists other departments.
When asked what winning Employee of the Month means to him, he said, "It's exciting to be recognized, there are so many deserving people here at Lynn."
Jackson's favorite part about working at Lynn is the people and the campus. He notes, "I've been at Lynn for a while as an undergraduate and master's student, and now a full-time employee. I think the people that I have met are truly what makes Lynn special. Plus, our campus is beautiful!"
Fun fact: Jackson loves looking for shells on the beach and learning about the different species in the ocean.
