iPulse shines at Miami Book Fair and Panthers Media Day

iPulse students from both print and broadcast had the opportunity to attend the Miami Book Fair and the first-ever Panthers Media Day, with media passes secured from each respective organization.

At the book fair, students had the opportunity to network, interview authors, and listen to readings by the authors in a lively, family-friendly environment.

During Panthers Media Day—which occurred due to iPulse's request to seek learning opportunities in the sports journalism field—iPulse students were invited for a behind-the-scenes look at the Amerant Bank Arena facilities. Students attended a team practice and heard personal accounts from the entire Panthers media team. In addition, students conducted press-conference-style interviews with player Anton Lundell and networked with the communication team and aspiring journalism students from other Florida universities.
