Exceptional student education interns hired by their schools

Ashley Inoa '22, '23 and Lisbeth Diaz Rodriguez '22, '23, pursuing their master's in exceptional student education, have been integral parts of the Hagen Road Elementary School and West Boca Raton High School teams, respectively. Their dedication and innovative approaches to special education made a significant impact during their internships and led to offered positions at the schools they served.

Inoa, who interned at Hagen Road Elementary, has been praised for her creativity in the classroom, providing unique methods for small group instruction within a dual-language setting and fostering inclusive classroom environments that have not gone unnoticed.

Rodriguez shined at West Boca Raton High School by creating the "Learning Lounge." Her work integrating technology to enhance math learning for students with special needs has set new standards in the school.
