Lynn University named Kristy Shore as April's Employee of the Month for her dedication and student-centric attitude as associate director of Housing and Residence Life.
Shore has worked at Lynn for nearly five years. As the primary point person for housing selection processes, Shore oversees how many students live on campus and works with partners to support students and their on-campus experience. "I support students as they navigate the ups and downs of these transformational years, in and out of the classroom," said Shore.
When asked what winning Employee of the Month means to her, she said, "Winning Employee of the Month makes me feel valued. I am invested in Lynn, my colleagues, my students and the experience we provide. It is good to know Lynn is just as invested in me."
Shore's favorite part about working at Lynn is that it allows her to be authentic.
Fun fact: She usually treats herself to sushi on Fridays.
