Ali Cunningham Abbott, associate professor and program director for Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), presented three talks at the 2023 Association for Counselor Education & Supervision (ACES) in Denver, Colorado.
Abbott's talks were on anti-oppressive strategies in counselor education for faculty and students, autistic affirming treatment and advocacy, and responding to Florida's educational restrictions and medical bans.
Two Lynn CMHC graduates, Natese Dockery '20 and Asha Kadir '20, also attended the conference.
