Since Lynn University launched sustainability initiatives in 2009, the campus community has continued its commitment to create a greener campus.

Lynn University is recognized yet again as one of the country's most environmentally responsible colleges in The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2021 Edition.

The annual report profiled the top 416 institutions with commitments to sustainable practices and programs. Schools were chosen based on a 2019–20 survey that analyzed academic offerings, campus policies and practices and green-career preparation for students.

Lynn is dedicated to environmental responsibility and works closely with its students and employees to create a sustainable campus. Among various efforts ranging from eliminating water bottles to preventing bus idling, the university also uses conscious building practices to reduce waste and save energy.

Inside the classroom, Lynn incorporates United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its curriculum and a Sustainability Committee allows students to get involved in campus efforts.

The Princeton Review selected Lynn based on its green rating—a measure of a school's performance as an environmentally aware institution. The complete methodology is available online.
