On-campus audition dates

Lynn Drama will host an on-campus audition for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama program on Feb. 23, 2024.

If you wish to attend this audition, you must complete a pre-screen audition video and submit an application.

Application details

  1. Complete your Lynn application.
  2. Apply to the B.F.A in drama through Acceptd.
  3. Submit your audition video. Or, if you would like to audition on campus, submit a pre-screen video and select a preferred date. If you pass the pre-screen phase, you will receive an invitation to come to campus.

Musical Theater Performance specialization

  • Submit video, headshot and resume to getacceptd.
  • Video should be high quality. Framing should be medium close up for songs. Framing should be wide for dance.
  • Students should introduce themselves and include name, title of the two song choices and the title of the monologue that will be presented.
  • Students will present two 32-bar cuts from musical theater songs (legit and contemporary) and a 60-90 second contemporary monologue. Students must also present a 30-second Broadway-style dance routine. If auditioning for both programs, students should perform a second monologue.

Acting specialization

  • Submit video, headshot and resume.
  • Video should be high quality. Framing should be medium close up. The video should be a single take.
  • Students should introduce themselves. Introduction should include name and the title of the monologues being performing.
  • Students will present two, 60-90 second contrasting contemporary monologues and one classical monologue. Material selection may come from plays, movies or television shows.
