AVF 201Instrument Flight Lab, Advanced

This is the second part of a two course sequence for the Instrument Rating. Methodology and requirements of the instrument rating that the student is able to perform IFR cross-country procedures and has attained instrument level proficiency to successfully pass the FAA Instrument Rating Practical Test. AVF 201 requires 18 hours dual flight instruction, 7 hours in the Advanced Aviation Training Device, 13 hours of ground pre/post flight briefings, a Stage III check and EOC. The course requirements are met when the student earns his or her Instrument Rating.
