Niche, an online resource that connects individuals to their future colleges, universities and workplaces, ranked Lynn University third in its 2023 Most Diverse Colleges in America award. Lynn is among 1,546 colleges nationwide judged on factors of geography, diversity and tolerance on campus. Lynn previously earned first place in 2021 and second in 2022.

In 1962, a group of nuns founded Lynn with a mission to educate a diverse group of students with a focus on service to its community. Since its founding, the university has welcomed and served students from all over the world.

"Having a diverse learning experience allows me to connect with many different people from so many different cultures and helps me grow as a student," said Ioan Constantin, class of 2024, from Bucharest, Romania. "At Lynn I can share cultures and experiences with peers that allow us to gather a deeper understanding of each other and work in unity."

The qualifications Lynn succeeded in to earn recognition from Niche are based on statistics and student reviews that utilize data from the U.S. Department of Education. The ranking, consisting of eight categories—student racial diversity, percent of international students, percent of out-of-state students, student economic diversity, faculty diversity, student surveys on diversity, faculty gender ratio and student gender ratio—compare socio-economic, geographic, and the ethnic diversity of students and staff on campus. Lynn earned third place behind Pomona College (California) and Andrews University (Michigan), making Lynn the number one school in the state of Florida that offers a diverse and inclusive environment on campus—other prominent universities in the Niche ranking include Stanford (#5), Yale (#10) and Harvard (#23).

This fall, Lynn broke a monumental record, welcoming the largest class in its history—representing 109 countries and 49 U.S. states and territories.
