Gold Coast PR Council awarded Lynn University the 2021 Bernays Award for its “What’s your #CommonThread?” campaign, which shared stories of connection during the pandemic.
Lynn’s Office of Marketing and Communication launched the #CommonThread campaign March 27 and used digital media to create a sense of togetherness and shared understanding of the challenges every person faced. The campaign included:
- Web design
- Copywriting
- Multimedia
- Social media
- Advertising
- Media relations
The team published six videos with over 15,000 views and 33 news stories. Sun Sentinel, Boca Tribune, ESPN, Boca Newspaper, The Jewish Journal and more covered student and faculty stories.
The annual Bernays Awards honor excellence in public relations and marketing by South Florida professionals and their organizations. Lynn is one of 10 recipients and is recognized in the "PR Campaign by a Large Company or Firm" category.
