Colleges of Distinction, a higher education resource for counselors, parents, students and schools, recognized Lynn University as a 2016–17 College of Distinction. Lynn is one of eight Florida institutions to be recognized for its dedication to enriching student outcomes through innovative learning opportunities.
High school counselors, college administrative members and the Colleges of Distinction selection team nominate colleges for consideration. Schools are recognized based on their demonstration of four distinctions—engaged students, teaching, community and successful outcomes. The committee uses quantitative data, such as graduation rates and classroom size, to evaluate schools.
This summer, Lynn also earned rankings for its affordability and online programs. The university placed among the "Top 10 Most Affordable Online Master's Degrees in International Business 2016" from Best College Values. College Choice ranked Lynn ninth in its top 10 "Most Affordable Online Psychology Programs" list and 16 out of 30 in "Best Master's in School Counseling Programs."
