Growing up in Boca Raton, Elena Tayem always knew Lynn University was a special place. From the moment someone steps on campus, they feel they're part of the Lynn family. The faculty and staff are so dedicated to seeing the students succeed. There is no other university like Lynn that creates so many personalized and memorable experiences. Tayem is honored and privileged to work for the Office of Admission. She loves working with students, helping them navigate college life and seeing them through graduation.
Professional profile
Elena Tayem initially started her career in journalism and marketing. She worked at WPTV News Channel 5 as an associate producer and at the Boca Raton Resort and Club as a concierge. Tayem also worked on communication, marketing and public relations for the George Snow Scholarship Fund and St. Gregory's Episcopal Church. She now works as the assistant director of student success at Lynn, where she is also pursuing a Doctorate of Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership.
Her philosophy is that life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. Surround yourself with the people you love and care for. Be present and grateful for all of life's beautiful moments. Hard works pays off! Her hobbies include yoga, swimming, volunteering and board games. "There's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait…."
