It has always been Barr’s goal to inspire his students to become life-long learners. His goal is to develop learning strategies, and individual educational skills that stay with students long after college. His practical projects are designed to develop soft skills, which are directly transferable to the workplace. In order to address a wide spectrum of learners, Barr engages each student individually. By understanding his student’s goals and objectives, he can link course content to applications around student interests.
