The Christine E. Lynn University Center stands at the heart of campus
The building encompasses student essentials including Lynn’s award-winning dining in Mary's Kitchen, Career and Alumni Connections, Center for Learning Abroad, Schmidt Family Campus Store, Perper Mailroom, student affairs offices, collaboration spaces and more. Bobby Campbell Dining Commons provides open seating overlooking the lake with multiple TV monitors for entertainment. Elaine's provides students with a place to eat, relax or sing karaoke. Its design includes a large “living room” for informal gatherings and presentations, with expansive glass windows that connect students outdoors with activity occurring inside.
The university center is home to Christine's—an upscale pub serving light meals, beer and wine. Local plant life surrounds the exterior of the university center, and pathways connect students to other points on campus. Christine's Park, a simply-designed green space, includes an amphitheater-style teaching area for outdoor classes.
