Health insurance

All students are required to carry medical insurance prior to the beginning of the fall semester. Before coming to Lynn, students are automatically enrolled in the Lynn University Student Health Insurance Plan and the premium is added to the student's tuition fees.

Domestic students

Domestic students can either keep the university's health insurance plan or provide proof of a comparable individual or family insurance plan. Confirmation of coverage must be completed through the online health insurance verification process before the end of the drop/add period of the fall semester. For more information about Lynn's health insurance plan, or to opt out, visit United Health Student Resources.

International students

The Lynn University Student Health Insurance Plan is mandatory for all international students. For information about the coverage claims process and obtaining an ID, visit the Financial Aid office.
