Students eligible to receive a Presidential Scholarship have demonstrated their intellectual curiosity, commitment to service and to enhancing their community. This is a merit-based award that covers tuition, housing and food. This scholarship is renewable annually when the recipient maintains a cumulative 3.0-grade point average (GPA) at Lynn University.
Each year, Lynn awards two Presidential Scholarships: one to a student attending high school in the United States and one to student attending high school abroad.
Eligibility requirements for the Presidential Scholarship include:
- Receiving an offer of admission from Lynn University by Feb. 1.
- Enrolling as an undergraduate, first-time full-time student.
- Maintaining a high school GPA of 3.65 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) if standardized test scores were not considered for admission.
- Maintaining a high school GPA of 3.50 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) if standardized test scores were considered for admission. A minimum SAT score of 1050 or ACT score of 20 is required.
Students who apply for the Presidential Scholarship will be evaluated in a holistic manner, which includes all components of their application. Test scores will only be included in the evaluation for those students who provided SAT or ACT scores with their application.
