Candidates must be undergraduate transfer day students who are enrolled in Lynn after receiving an associate degree from another higher education institution. They must also be members of Phi Theta Kappa. Membership is determined in one of the following three ways:
- The community college indicates Phi Theta Kappa membership on the official transcript once the associate degree is conferred.
- Students present their Phi Theta Kappa ID card.
- The chapter adviser writes a letter of recommendation.
Candidates must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA in addition to their conferred associate degree. This scholarship is granted in addition to the transfer scholarship.
The yearly award amount is $1,000.
