UXD 545Contemporary Interface Design
Students in this course will be introduced to highly specialized screen-based applications that typically exist outside of the usual computer and smartphone-based interfaces. Examples are vehicle displays, point-of-sale kiosks, and smart TV navigation, all of which introduce specialized interaction needs and interface elements. Students will examine alternative user-based requirements like safety, literacy and language barriers, and the need to save time.
