SCI 696Proposal Preparation in the Biological Sciences

In this student-directed course, students will prepare for, write, and defend their master's thesis proposal. This proposal will be grounded in a critical evaluation of the research literature which identifies a gap in current knowledge. With faculty supervision, students will propose an individual research project which results in generation of novel data or novel analysis of existent data.
