SCI 540Health Law and Ethics

Issues in bioethics considers activities in the Biomedical field that raise moral perplexity about the rights and duties of patients, health professionals, research subjects, and researchers. This course addresses ethical theories and presents a set of readings on issues in medical ethics including abortion and infanticide, problems of birth defects, euthanasia, genetic editing and control, and artificially ending and preserving life.
