SCI 520Molecular Genetics

This course provides a detailed look at the fundamental molecular mechanisms that define the genetics of prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. Students will also learn molecular techniques used to study these mechanisms in several model organisms. Where applicable, students will examine how changes that affect these molecular mechanisms confer human disease.
