LAW 400Property Law

This course explores substantive property law and explores the role of property in a free and democratic society, with particular emphasis on the theoretical justifications for private property rights, the limits on property rights, the kinds of things that may be owned, the estate system, shared ownership, landlord-tenant relations, land transfers, and regulatory takings. This includes intellectual property.
