ECE 303Curriculum Design in Early Childhood Education

The teacher candidate will learn how to create curriculum for preschool teachers which focuses on developing appropriate environments and activities for children ages three through grade three. This course will explore various curriculum models and theories when designing early childhood curriculum. The student will plan, prepare, and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote the child's self , cognitive, creative, physical, and communication development. Participants willl explore various models of instruction as they develop lesson plans and activities that are appropriate for young children.
