COM 535Social Media Strategies & Tactics

An examination of the structure and operations of social media platforms and constituencies, along with evolving strategies and tactics employed by those who seek to circulate, advocate and share content via the expanding array of social media. Course content ranges from the impact of professional and informal interactions and relationships among memberships of society to AI controlled bots used to influence public opinion and politics. Students develop strategies and tactics for social media-related objectives.
