AVF 410Flight Instruction Methods - Basic Ground School

Methodology and requirements of flight instruction that prepare the student for the FAA CGI-Ground Instructor's exam. This course focuses on the regulations and teaching pedagogies most applicable to flight instruction. Topics include Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI), FAA regulations, safety and instructional risk management. Note: this course meets the partial FAA requirements for the Commercial Flight Instructor, and but does not include any hands-on training in a physical aircraft.
