AVF 300Commercial Flight Lab, Basic
This is the first of a three course sequence to prepare the student for the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate. The student reviews and practices previously learned flight procedures, and increases proficiency in cross-country planning and performing extended cross-country flights, along with proficiency in performing night operations. AVF 300 requires 11 hours dual flight instruction, 4 hours in the Advanced Aviation Training Device, 40 hours of solo flight, 15 hours of ground pre/post flight briefings, and a stage check. The course requirements are met when student passes the Stage 1 check.
