About our fashion showcase
Each year, Lynn University hosts the Lynn Fashion Showcase—a student- and faculty-led event that displays the talents of students enrolled in the B.S. in fashion and retail program. The show is a collaboration between Lynn's College of Business and Management, the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn College of Communication and Design, and community partners. Students create and mold wearable artwork for the runway, and gain hands-on experiences they can use in their future careers.
2024 Lynn Fashion Showcase
This year's fashion show was dedicated to sustainability in the fashion industry.
Did you know? Only 1% of all post-consumer textiles are recycled into new clothing. The 2024 Annual Fashion Showcase committed to raising awareness on the importance of repurposing post-consumer textiles into new clothing and helping to raise the current recycling rate of 1%.
With sustainable creativity, students transformed discarded textiles into stylish, eco-conscious garments. This actively contributed to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Goals—particularly Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production; and Goal 13: Climate Action.
