EDU 215Children's Literature

The information presented in this course introduces teacher candidates to a variety of children’s books and ipad apps which allows them to make knowledgeable decisions in the selection and use of these children's books as a result of studying, discussing and using genres of children’s literature in and outside the classroom setting. It prepares teacher candidates to integrate literature throughout the curriculum and helps them to collect and read an extensive selection of children’s literature for use in their future classrooms. Five hours of field observations are required.
