EDU 102Introduction to Special Education

The goal of this course is to introduce the special education child and study their origin, diagnosis, and treatment of special needs. It emphasizes learning, goal planning regarding information and characteristics of individuals with exceptionalities, evidence-based instructional strategies, as well as legal policies in meeting the diversity of their needs. All course materials and assignments will be presented in an online format and all assignments, exams, activities will be submitted online. This course offers 7 modules with 16 posts with a recommended pace of 1 post per week.
