Debbie Stern is Lynn University’s writer and editor focused on the university’s internal community (students and employees) via several channels including Lynn Minute, myLynn and Debbie’s Digest. She also supports various internal and external writing objectives.

She joined Lynn in 2005, with 30+ years of experience in diverse marketing and communication positions including public relations manager, marketing director, feature writer and newspaper editor. An information junkie by nature, Stern keeps her eyes and ears open to ensure she’s keeping up with campus life, and she’s even been called the “Wikipedia of Lynn.”

Interests:

The Beatles and all the oldies from “back in the day,” sailing, nature, reading, writing, fun times and good conversation

Stern is from New Jersey. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in communication.
