Professional Profile
I have chosen to work at Lynn University because it provides both faculty and students an opportunity to engage in dynamic and challenging learning experiences. The benefit of working in a university of this size facilitates a climate of familiarity and frequent interaction between faculty and students. My experience as both a professor and clinician, with a specialty in marriage and family therapy, has taught me the value of working in a context that fosters opportunities for developing meaningful relationships, and how these relationships encourage important linkages between learning and life experiences.
Judith Adelson has been a professor at Lynn University for more than six years. She began as an adjunct professor and is now an assistant professor with a dual appointment in human services and psychology. Prior to her appointment at Lynn University, Adelson divided her time between a clinical practice with a specialty in marriage and family therapy and supervision of graduate students in a marriage and family therapy program.
