Lynn’s 2025 strategic plan calls for elevating the Lynn experience. In order to keep up with our enrollment growth and accomplish our objectives, we need to work more efficiently across departments, reducing silos and enhancing collaboration.
Our current system is over 20 years old, and technology has dramatically changed in the last five years. We also have invested in buildings and physical plant features. We need new technology tools to help the institution to be more efficient and agile.
We evaluated several enterprise applications for our industry. As part of our vendor selection process, we looked at the technical solutions, subscription options, maintenance costs, overall costs and more.
We also waited for newer products to mature so that vendors could disclose product roadmaps, helping us understand the best fit for the longer term.
We believe the Workday platform aligns with our needs to simplify, consolidate and be more agile. Workday is also investing resources to leverage data science and machine-learning technologies that aligns with Lynn’s innovative approach.
