Compensation program

Purpose

The purpose of the university’s compensation program is to provide a total compensation package that enables Lynn University to attract and retain a qualified and competent work force.

Policy

To attract and retain a highly qualified and competent work force, Lynn University has instituted a compensation program to compensate employees in a fair and equitable manner based upon demonstrated job performance, and in accordance with its equal employment opportunity policy. Through this program, it is the intention of Lynn University that employees will receive constructive work reviews designed to address performance and skill developmental needs and interests.

Generally, every year, employees with more than ninety (90) days' service in the same position by Jan. 1 become eligible for consideration of a salary review. Lynn University applies the same principles of fairness and opportunity to all employees when determining their wages. Wages and salaries are influenced by several factors including, but not limited to:

• Nature and scope of the job;
• Years of experience and education;
• Comparison with other similar type universities for comparable jobs;
• Availability of university resources; and
• Individual performance.

Any questions concerning wages should be discussed with an immediate supervisor.
